1. Acceptance of terms

4. Permitted use

6. Intellectual property

The Site, including its design, code, text, logos, and underlying data files, is owned by Sunith Babu L, Ph.D., and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Unit symbols, names, and factual conversion factors themselves are not copyrightable. The presentation, layout, examples, explanatory prose, and overall expression on this Site are protected.

Trademark "ExpertCalculator" is claimed in connection with online unit-conversion services.

7. User-submitted content

If you submit any content to us (via email, contact form, or otherwise), you grant ExpertCalculator a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with operating the Site. You retain ownership of your submission.

8. Third-party content and links

The Site contains links to third-party websites (BIPM, NIST, Google, and others). We have no control over the content or practices of these sites and accept no responsibility for them. Linking from this Site does not constitute endorsement.

9. Advertising

The Site displays advertisements via Google AdSense and may show other third-party advertisements in the future. We have no control over the specific advertisements displayed. Clicking an advertisement takes you to a third-party website governed by that party's terms.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ExpertCalculator, its operators, contributors, and reviewers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site, including but not limited to: loss of data, loss of profits, business interruption, or any other commercial or non-commercial damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

If you access the Site from outside India, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for 30 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
